What you'll need to have

  • You are customer service oriented with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to provide our customers with a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable and enjoyable food experience.
  • You are a passionate leader inspired by the IKEA core leadership capabilities, you see how IKEA food contributes to increasing the overall performance and strive to make things happen.
  • You have minimum of 5 years' experience working in a vibrant retail and/ or service/hospitality environment and a passion for Food Safety.
  • You are curious and eager to learn more in order to develop the business and deliver strong business results through people.
  • You are willing to serve the many store customers, contribute to a day out for the whole family and strengthen the Swedish profile of the IKEA store.
  • You have a proven attitude to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure.
  • You are motivated to explore innovative ideas and find better ways to enable change and help our customers feel that there is always something new to try and that time in the store is well spent.

A day in your life with us

  • Lead the team through planning, coaching and coordinating food selling activities to deliver to the common objectives and goals.
  • Implement common commercial framework, standards, plans, WoW (Ways of Working), tools and KPI’s adapting to local requirements and legislation.
  • Contribute insights and ideas to the market business plan as an integrated commercial partner and manage forecasting and budgeting in line with financial plan.
  • Secure global and national compliance standards, as well as optimised levels of commerciality are achieved by cooperating effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the customer has an inspiring food experience and secure that common store planning solutions and vitality packages are implemented within all food commercial areas.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 58,960 CAD to 81,070 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
