Your role and responsibilities
As a Brand Tech Sales Specialist, you will focus on Select Territory Activate accounts, serving as the first line of engagement for these accounts. You will be responsible for delivering technical demos and product overviews virtually, advancing opportunities through digital channels, and collaborating closely with Marketing and Ecosystem teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver Technical Demos: Provide virtual technical demos and product overviews to Select Territory accounts, showcasing product capabilities and addressing customer needs.
  • Advance Opportunities: Leverage digital channels to advance sales opportunities, utilizing an AI-enabled technology stack to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with Marketing and Ecosystem teams to align sales strategies and tactics, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing impact.
  • Function in High-Volume Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment, prioritizing multiple accounts and opportunities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage Technology Stack: Utilize an AI-enabled technology stack to streamline sales processes, enhance customer engagement, and drive business outcomes.

    Required technical and professional expertise
    Proven experience as a technical specialist supporting enterprise customers in IBM Z environments, with strong expertise in IBM Mainframe Data & AI software. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into value‑driven technical solutions, engage senior stakeholders, and support complex sales opportunities end‑to‑end. Solid understanding of z/OS, hybrid cloud integration, data analytics, and modernization use cases. Strong communication, consultative selling, and cross‑team collaboration skills, with the ability to operate independently and contribute to critical revenue opportunities
    Preferred technical and professional experience
    Preferred experience with IBM z17 roadmap and next‑generation IBM Z capabilities, including performance, security, and AI acceleration. Familiarity with AIOps, DevOps, and automation solutions on z/OS. Exposure to data replication, real‑time analytics, and hybrid integration patterns between IBM Z and distributed/cloud platforms. Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is an advantage. Prior hands‑on involvement in Po Cs, competitive technical positioning, and complex enterprise transformations is preferred.
