Your role and responsibilities
Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP Success Factors Compensation and Variable Pay modules
Configure, test, and deploy approved change requests, enhancements, and defect fixes across environments
Perform impact and effort analysis for incoming requests, including solution design recommendations
Review SAP Success Factors releases, assess business impact, and support release planning and testing
Partner with HR, Compensation, and HRIS stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
Execute and support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure configuration aligns with compensation strategy, eligibility logic, guidelines, budgets, and workflows
Maintain solution documentation including configuration design, test scripts, and operational procedures
Support production processes during compensation and bonus cycles, including issue resolution and stabilization
Collaborate with HR Technology, CIO, and SAP as needed to resolve complex functional issues

Required technical and professional expertise
Hands-on experience supporting SAP Success Factors Compensation and/or Variable Pay modules
Strong knowledge of:
Compensation planning worksheets
Variable Pay plans, scorecards, and payout calculations
Eligibility rules, budget modeling, guidelines, and proration logic
Proven experience with configuration, testing, and deployment in Success Factors
Experience performing impact assessments for system changes and SAP quarterly upgrades
Solid understanding of HR and compensation processes, including annual compensation cycles
Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot configuration problems, and recommend solutions
Experience working with change management and incident management processes
Strong communication skills to engage business stakeholders and translate requirements into system design
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience supporting both Compensation and Variable Pay in a production enterprise environment
Prior experience in an AMS, support, or center-of-excellence (CoE) role
Knowledge of related Success Factors modules (e.g., Employee Central, RBP, MDF)
Exposure to multi-country or complex compensation structures
Familiarity with SAP Success Factors release management, regression testing, and upgrade best practices
Basic understanding of data models, business rules, and integration touchpoints
SAP Success Factors Certification in Compensation and/or Variable Pay
Experience supporting global annual compensation or bonus cycles
