Your role and responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative specializing in web Methods and Stream Sets, you will focus on achieving and exceeding industry standard productivity and service levels. You will develop qualified opportunities that lead to high yield and provide business development for web Methods API Management, web Methods Integration, and Stream Sets.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop Qualified Opportunities: Leverage marketing demand, insights, and intent data to identify potential clients and develop qualified opportunities that lead to high yield. This involves analyzing data to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Provide Business Development: Focus on business development for web Methods API Management, web Methods Integration, and Stream Sets, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Build Client Engagement: Use client engagement practices to build strong relationships across all IBM client segments, with a primary focus on Select. This involves understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Exceed Productivity Standards: Achieve and exceed industry standard productivity and service levels, ensuring high-quality results and meeting targets.
  • Leverage Marketing Insights: Utilize marketing demand, insights, and intent data to inform business development strategies and identify new opportunities.

  • Required technical and professional expertise
  • Exposure to API Management: Familiarity with web Methods API Management, including its features and applications in various industries.
  • Experience working with Integration Tools: Knowledge of web Methods Integration and its role in integrating disparate systems and applications.
  • Understanding of Data Integration: Exposure to Stream Sets and its capabilities in data integration and processing.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to understand client needs and preferences, and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Industry Awareness: Familiarity with industry standard productivity and service levels, and the ability to achieve and exceed these standards.
  • Preferred technical and professional experience
  • API Management Knowledge: Exposure to web Methods API Management features and applications in various industries is beneficial. Understanding its capabilities can help identify potential business opportunities.
  • Integration Tools Familiarity: Experience working with web Methods Integration and knowledge of its role in integrating disparate systems and applications can be advantageous in this role.
  • Data Integration Exposure: Familiarity with Stream Sets and its capabilities in data integration and processing can aid in developing qualified opportunities and providing business development.
