Your role and responsibilities
As a Corporate Social Responsibility Professional: Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of CSR programs that align with IBM's values and strategic goals. You will define and implement program governance principles, establish program objectives, and identify necessary resources for successful program execution.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Program Governance: Define and implement program governance principles, establish program objectives, create a roadmap, and identify necessary resources for successful program execution.
  • Develop Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, internal and external reporting, communicate program status and risks, and provide program updates to executive sponsors and other stakeholders.
  • Manage Program Budgets and Financials: Manage program budgets and financials, including tracking expenses, monitoring financial performance, and managing associated processes and business.
  • Collaborate with Communications Teams: Work closely with communications and marketing teams to develop program messaging and ensure effective communication of IBM's key messages and strategies relating to CSR to internal and external audiences.
  • Oversee Program Resources: Manage program resources, including project teams, vendors, and consultants, to ensure successful program delivery.

    Led end-to-end program governance for large-scale global initiatives, defining strategic objectives, establishing operating frameworks, and ensuring alignment of resources for successful execution.
    Built and maintained strong stakeholder relationships across a highly matrixed organization, delivering clear executive communications on program status, risks, and performance to internal and external audiences.
    Managed program budgets and financial performance, including forecasting, expense tracking, and ensuring operational efficiency across complex, multi-region initiatives.
    Collaborated cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and ecosystem partners to develop impactful messaging and drive consistent program narratives across global markets.
    Directed resource planning and delivery across project teams, vendors, consultants, and academic partners, successfully launching and scaling programs with universities worldwide.
    Preferred technical and professional experience
    Familiarity with generative AI, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies
