Job Summary:
The Manager of Talent & Growth (T&G) India is responsible for overall people and team capability building, talent development, performance management and inclusion in both Bangalore and Mumbai sites. The successful candidate will collaborate with local India People & Culture Business Partners to design and deliver relevant learning, leadership, talent and inclusion solutions to business groups and functions under their remit. Responsibilities include consulting, designing, facilitating and program managing different learning, change and transformational programs and interventions for different audience levels. He/she will take care of scaling up and delivering these T&G offerings across India market catering to all Cast Members in both locations.
This role will also partner with the Sr. Manager, Talent & Growth, based in Burbank, CA to execute organization development and culture initiatives in India. The incumber may also be later assigned to lead or support future Enterprise and/or Region programs servicing all APAC markets, consistent to the APAC Talent & Growth team’s operating model.
This position will report directly to the Head of Talent & Growth, APAC, with a dotted line reporting to the Head of People & Culture, India. This position will have 1 direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Consulting:
- Strategically build partnership with local Business Leaders and People & Culture Business Partners to analyze, plan, and implement effective organization development and capability solutions aligned with specific business needs.
- Work with T&G colleagues to deliver comprehensive solutions covering organizational development, learning, leadership, talent, inclusion and other related initiatives.
- Research industry trends, provide insights, and develop measures to monitor the effectiveness of solutions.
Organization Development & Effectiveness:
- Provide consulting expertise on organization design and effectiveness, supporting leadership and team transitions.
- Create impactful leadership development interventions for business leaders and management teams.
- Provide consulting support for talent mix and pipeline development in alignment with business growth.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and team coaching activities, ensuring cultural sensitivity.
- Introduce inclusion interventions to foster an open, safe, and inclusive work environment.
Organization Capability:
- Develop organizational capacity for current and future business needs through relevant learning curriculum, leadership programs, and talent strategies.
- Design and implement core competencies using various learning formats.
- Effectively deploy and manage planned strategies and program both at local and regional level, either in person or virtually.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to leverage relevant tools and resources.
- Measure and report the impact of T&G solutions using metrics like leadership pipelines, talent bench, diversity mix, organization surveys, and business/team performance results.
- Manage external vendor partnerships for OD, learning, talent, and DE&I solutions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in annual T&G planning and quarterly learning calendar management for APAC and India.
- Align and support T&G learning operation management and optimization.
- Align with brand communications and contribute to learning EVP building.
- Manage ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Adult Education, Psychology) from an accredited institution; Master's degree a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years demonstrated success and relevant experience in organization consulting, business partnering, instructional design, learning delivery, and leadership facilitation; experience with global technology multinational companies a plus.
- Deep subject matter expertise and a passionate commitment to progressive learning, organizational development theory, and talent development; DE&I experience a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, whether working independently or leading project teams; regional experience is a plus.
- Proven effective training and facilitation skills.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills, adept at managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to identify innovative ways for T&G to support business strategy.
- Mature with a strong sense of responsibility, proactive initiative, and a collaborative team player.
- Possesses a good balance between strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Regional job, consulting, and people management experience are pluses.
- Periodic business trips may be required as needed.
