Description -

The Customer Success & Data Insights Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support decision-making and provide insights to the organization. The role applies statistical and analytical methods to explore data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and extract actionable insights. The role helps organization make data-driven decisions, optimize processes, and achieve their strategic objectives. The role provides strategic recommendations to senior management based on data insights.

What a Customer Success & Data Insights Engineer does at HP:

  • Participates as a member of team of other data science engineers carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
  • In accordance with plan, performs/executes data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan.
  • Collects, records, and analyzes data using established protocols and processes; communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback.
  • Assists in literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.
  • Utilizes scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data.
  • Develops algorithms and mathematical models, performs experimentation, and supports data-driven apps to translate data into intelligence.
  • Participates in the data quality governance framework design and optimization, including process, standards, rules, etc.
  • Utilizes advanced analytical techniques to extract, clean, and analyze complex data sets from various sources.
  • Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
