Management Reporting/PAPM Sr IT Business Consultant

Join HP’s Management Reporting and Planning Solutions team and help shape the future of Finance technology. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior IT Business Consulting professional to drive IT transformation and innovation projects within our Finance function. You will vet and oversee new requests and enhancements for both individual and POA projects, ensuring seamless integration and implementation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and implement them in SAP-Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) and other HP management reporting systems.

As part of this team, you will gain further exposure across multiple SAP technologies, products, and platforms. You will establish relationships with IT and Finance organizations to understand their reporting priorities, drive enablement and support delivery of those priorities.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Delivery:

Responsible to design and implement solutions, primarily in SAP-PAPM, but also in other SAP platforms, including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, WEB Intelligence and others.

• Innovation:

Identify opportunities where IT can deliver cost-effective, standardized solutions, including the use of AI and automation solutions for Finance and for internal efficiency.

• Data and Profitability Expertise:

Leverage extensive knowledge of management reporting to propose solutions for our Finance organization stakeholders.

• Process Optimization:

Recognize the demand for new and improved processes and spearheads their development and implementation.

• Project Leadership:

Manage complex implementations from concept to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and timely delivery.

• Strategic Partnerships:

Build strong relationships with Finance leaders to understand reporting priorities and influence technology strategy.

• Governance & Best Practices:

Advocate for best practices in reporting design, data governance, and IT process improvement across the organization.

• Mentorship:

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT projects, process improvement, or a related field, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

• Experience with SAP platforms, especially PAPM, along with a deep understanding of finance management reporting concepts, practices, and design.
