You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Buenos Aires, Argentina location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall performance and reliability of our clients' operations by providing innovative APC solutions that enhance productivity and safety in their processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement advanced process control solutions mainly for oil and gas applications.

• Configure and maintain APC models to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and enhance product quality.

• Conduct performance monitoring and provide technical support for APC systems.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in APC technology

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions.

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers during the implementation of APC systems.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering (Chemical, Elctronic, Process Automation).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced application engineering, specifically in the oil and gas sector.

• Strong knowledge of advanced process control methodologies and their application in industrial processes.

• Experience with process control software and tools, including but not limited to DCS, PLCs, and SCADA systems.

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to process control systems, such as Python or MATLAB.
