- ISC-Mfg – Hi-Pot Testing Qualification - ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or relevant trade.
Experience required - 2-4 years in electrical testing or similar operations.
Job Summary:
To perform High Potential (Hi-Pot) electrical testing on components or assemblies to ensure insulation integrity and compliance with safety standards
1. Knowledge of Hi-Pot testing principles and electrical safety. 2. Ability to read electrical schematics and test specifications.3. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork.
1. Set up and operate Hi-Pot testing equipment as per standard operating Sheet (SOS). 2. Verify test parameters before starting the test. 3. Perform Hi-Pot tests on parts/components according to defined specifications.4. Ensure all tests meet safety and quality standards. 5. Record test results accurately in logs or digital systems. 6. Identify and report any failures or anomalies immediately.7. Follow electrical safety protocols during testing. 8. Use appropriate PPE and maintain safe distance during high-voltage testing. 9. Ensure equipment grounding and isolation before and after testing.10. Maintain test records and traceability for all tested parts. 11. Communicate issues related to equipment or product quality to the supervisor.
