About the role
As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will be a key technical expert responsible for servicing and maintaining access control, HVAC, and fire alarm systems. You will leverage your experience with low-voltage systems, troubleshooting, programming, and graphic development to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you’ll work out of our customer location in Albany, NY.
In this role, you will impact the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our customers' facilities by delivering expert technical service and support for critical building systems.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with low-voltage systems including access control, HVAC, and fire alarm systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience in programming and graphic development for building management systems.

The annual base salary range for this position is $55,100 - $68,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of access control, HVAC, and fire alarm low-voltage systems.
- Develop and program system graphics and interfaces to enhance user experience and system monitoring.
- Utilize SQL skills to manage and analyze system data for performance optimization.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
