As a Government Relations Director at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the company's government relations strategy.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government officials, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advocate for Honeywell's interests.

You will report directly to our Director Government Relations and you’ll work out of our London location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE8 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field Strong knowledge of government processes, policies, and regulations Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levelsWE VALUEStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s Degree Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of the Automation industry and regulatory landscape Experience in a corporate government relations role
Key Responsibilities Lead development and advancement of legislative and regulatory proposals Identify, analyze, and report to the Company business, legislative and regulatory issues that could potentially impact the business and recommend and manage a course of action Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulators, elected officials, civil servants, and other key stakeholders Develop and oversee the production of high-quality written recommendations, briefings, publications, presentations, and other collateral that communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to audiences, with a focus on government stakeholders Coordinate strategy with consultants and trade association representatives to ensure active engagement on areas of interest to Honeywell and that all are aligned in support of our business strategies Organize and drive communication with Honeywell senior leadership, including meetings, briefings, and campaign reviews Participate, serve, and assume leadership positions on industry-related associations, steering committees, and networking organizations to protect and promote the Company interests
