The Sr IT Engineer – AI Application Development is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Honeywell Aerospace–specific AI‑enabled applications. This role focuses on building the application, UI, API, and data layers that consume AI services and APIs developed by AI/ML teams.

The position requires a cloud‑first full‑stack engineer with strong experience in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), capable of delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performance enterprise applications that integrate AI capabilities into real business workflows.

AI‑Enabled Application Development

• Design, develop, and deploy AI‑enabled enterprise applications that consume AI and LLM‑based APIs
• Collaborate closely with AI developers and data scientists to integrate AI services into user‑facing and backend applications
• Translate business use cases into end‑to‑end application solutions spanning UI, API, and data layers

UI / UX Development

• Design and develop modern, responsive web‑based user interfaces

Experience & Capabilities

• 6–8 years or more of experience as a full‑stack developer or IT engineer in enterprise environments
• Proven experience building and deploying cloud‑based applications end to end
• Strong experience integrating applications with AI / ML services and APIs
• Hands‑on experience delivering secure, production‑grade applications in global, enterprise settings
