As Director of AMI Solutions as part of the Smart Energy Business, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the systems engineering function end to end including the design, delivery and technical support for AMI Solutions for our utility customers.  You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the team. The Director of AMI Solutions will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure system quality, and achieve business objectives.

You will report directly to our VPGM Smart Energy Americas, and you will work out of our Raleigh, North Carolina location

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the Smart Energy business unit's ability to drive innovation, deliver high-quality products, and achieve business objectives. Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success, reputation, and growth of the business within Honeywell.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles
  • Minimum 10 years in managing large engineering teams.
  • Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Prior experience in managing direct reports including their career development
  • Strong technical expertise in the relevant software and systems engineering discipline
  • Expertise in AMI solutions and the utility industry
  • Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsCL1
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
