As an Assembly and Test Planner here at Honeywell Sundyne, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the assembly and testing of pumps and compressors, ensuring that all test stands and resources are effectively utilized to meet production goals.

You will report directly to our Planning Manager, and you’ll work out of our Arvada location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes, ensuring that all equipment is tested to the highest standards and that resources are allocated appropriately to meet project timelines.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly and test planning for mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies and resource management.
  • Experience with planning tools and software specific to assembly and testing processes.
  • Familiarity with pumps and compressors and their testing requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing assembly and test operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

The rate of pay for this position is between $82,400 - $105,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop Assembly Plans: Create detailed assembly plans and schedules based on product specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate Testing Procedures: Define and coordinate testing procedures to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Manage Resources: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize assembly and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering and design teams to review product designs and identify potential issues before assembly.
  • Monitor Production Processes: Oversee assembly and testing operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Document Procedures and Results: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any discrepancies to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Provide training and support to assembly and testing staff to ensure they are familiar with processes and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during assembly and testing, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute to process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Report Generation: Prepare reports on assembly and testing outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all assembly and testing activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
