Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Sourcing in Building Automation, this position is responsible for the development and execution of up to $50 M of global sourcing strategy for Security and Access Solutions. The candidate will utilize total cost of ownership models to manage suppliers and leverage Honeywell’s spend across the SBG’s. In addition, this role will partner with SBG stakeholders to drive best in class performance through category transformation and work to increase contribution to Productivity, Cash flow, Supplier Performance, Preferred Supplier Program (PSL) and material availability.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
  • 5+ years of work experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement Transformation.
  • Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with large stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Develop category strategies leveraging best-in-class suppliers, processes, and products to enable a competitive advantage.
  • Partner with COE, Regional Sourcing and stakeholders to ensure alignment, support and execution.
  • Lead the Digital procurement aspects of SAS team including Spend Analysis, Monthly performance to AOP calibration. Trend prediction, PPV guidance.
  • Evaluate digital tools, collaborate with other sourcing leaders to implement emerging technologies.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers; lead supplier business reviews using KPI’s viz. (Quality, Cost, Delivery, NPI, Innovation etc.)
  • Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply resiliency.
  • Drive supplier rationalization to preferred PSL / best-in-class suppliers; Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers.
  • Negotiate and execute contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms (Pricing, Quality, SLA, Rebates, Price Reductions, Warranties, etc.). Ensure compliance and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct spend analysis, market research and identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Develop plans for Cap Ex, AWPOT, AWPT, Past Due reduction, IOS reduction and obsolescence management.
  • Develop and publish key market intelligence including commodities, industry trends, benchmarks, etc.
  • Partner with VE team to develop strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base.
  • Develop and manage productivity pipeline and track it for AOP achievement.
  • Develop a resilient supply chain, identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Leverage the use of sourcing platforms (SAP, Ariba, Accolade, LEAP etc.) for category management.
  • Collaborate with SSE team and utilize TCO analysis to develop cost and productivity opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal factories, SIOP team to support build plans and drive OTTR improvement.
