As a Trade Compliance Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and managing the import and export activities of the company. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth flow of cross-border transactions and help maintain Honeywell's reputation as a trusted global partner.
You will report directly to our Program Manager, and you’ll work out of our Richardson, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's global operations by ensuring adherence to trade compliance policies and regulations, thereby minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations.

Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation.

Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade compliance.
- Strong knowledge of import and export regulations.
- Experience in managing trade compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions.
- Experience with trade compliance software, such as SAP GTS, to streamline compliance processes.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and effectively communicate trade compliance requirements.
