We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our VECE team as the Manufacturing Process Specialist. This role will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, identify and execute savings opportunities and fostering a culture of innovation within our manufacturing sites focusing on Non-DM Productivity. The successful candidate will lead ideation sessions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement strategies aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and quality

Your role will also include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end‑to‑end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.

Experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and productivity enhancement.

Qualification requirements & certificates

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in one or some of these processes : Casting and Machining , Metal- mechanics , Quality assurance, manufacturing operations, process automation, plastics, injection molding , stamping, metal forming, lean expert and similar.

Professional Skills and Knowledge

  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with data analytics and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Required skills and personal characteristics

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Establish and lead productivity ideation sessions across manufacturing sites to gather innovative ideas and solutions.

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to develop and implement best practices for productivity improvement.

  • Support execution of ideas with the PM team.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating training and workshops on ideation techniques and methodologies.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies and practices to introduce relevant innovations.

  • Lead and mentor team members involved in productivity projects, providing guidance and support in ideation and implementation.
