As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell IGS, you will be a key contributor to the Line Sortation Rebuild Engineering team. This includes product maintenance for line sortation products as well as the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions that enhance product lifecycle management. You will apply your advanced knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies to create high-quality, reliable products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

You will report directly to our LSS Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems and components, driving innovation and excellence in product design that supports Honeywell's strategic goals and customer needs.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive experience in mechanical design and development with a strong understanding of advanced mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other mechanical design tools to create detailed models and drawings.
• Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to ensure product performance and reliability under various conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical systems and provide innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards relevant to mechanical design.
