Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customized solutions leveraging building management systems and automation technologies. Integrate energy-saving strategies and sustainability measures into new and existing systems.
• Supports both sales professionals and customers during the technical requirement definition and solution development sales process steps.
• Participates in the creation of the customer technical roadmap; customers include both internal and external.
• Works as a team player with many sales professionals in assigned geography. Acts as a resource in support of the sale to address the customer’s technical and sustainability application requirements
• Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical support on advanced automation systems, HVAC controls, renewable energy integration, and energy monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement solutions, ensuring that they meet Customer specifications and are delivered on time and within budget. Provide training and support to Customers during and after implementation.
• Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to assess system performance and energy usage. Recommend adjustments to optimize system efficiency and enhance sustainability outcomes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to energy management, sustainability, and smart building technologies. Share insights to inform internal strategy and Customer recommendations.
• Work alongside sales, engineering, and marketing teams to promote energy and sustainability solutions. Contribute to the development of marketing materials and technical documentation

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, or a related field. Master’s degree would be an added advantage
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, engineering, or technical support in the energy and sustainability domain, with a focus on automation and building management systems.
• Strong understanding of building automation technologies, energy management systems (EMS), HVAC, and sustainability best practices.
• Proven experience in solution design and Customer interaction - closely with Customers to understand their energy management and sustainability needs.
• Ability to translate customers’ business drivers and their organizational needs into a technical solution
• Can clearly articulate technical value and demonstrate how solutions map to a customer’s needs and drivers
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with relevant energy efficiency standards, regulations, and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is an added.
• Understanding of IPMVP and ASHRAE guidelines
