As a Senior Manager of Government Relations here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's interactions with governmental entities, policymakers, and regulatory bodies in the ASEAN region. Your role is critical in advocating for the company's interests, navigating regulatory landscapes, and building strategic relationships with government officials and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing comprehensive government relations strategies aligned with Honeywell's business objectives, regulatory compliance, and public policy initiatives in the ASEAN region.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, trade associations, and relevant stakeholders to advance Honeywell's interests and promote a positive public image.
  • Develop strategies to manage crises and mitigate risks related to government affairs.
  • Communicate updates on legislative and regulatory issues internally, providing insights, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations or public affairs in the ASEAN region.
  • In-depth knowledge of government processes, public policy issues, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven success in developing and executing effective government relations strategies.

We Prefer:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large multinational organization.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze policy implications on business operations, foresee potential challenges, and develop proactive strategies to address them.
  • Strong network of relationships with government officials, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders in the ASEAN region.
