As a Certification Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the certification process for electronic products (specialized equipment designed to detect, suppress, or prevent fires in buildings), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help achieve successful certification and maintain product quality.

You will report directly to our Sr. Supervisor Certification,and you’ll work out of our Mexico City location on an on-Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining product quality, and supporting the certification process to help bring products to market efficiently and safely.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Software, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, etc.).
• 2- 3 years of experience in certification of electronic products.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electronic product certification.
• Experience with certification processes, regulatory compliance, and product testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with electronic product design and testing tools applicable to certification activities.
• High skill in English communication to effectively collaborate with global teams and document certification processes.
