We have an opportunity for a Sr Finance Analyst to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes, working closely with both business and technical teams. You will help coordinate and execute initiatives related to Blackline, SAP, and HFM solutions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing process improvements.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.
Key responsibilities

Assist in documenting and maintaining functional and technical specifications for financial reporting applications and business system processes.

Support the Finance and IT teams in implementing automation opportunities, including writing and testing business rules or calculation scripts under guidance.

Help communicate and train Finance groups on new technology solutions and process changes.

Identify and report technical issues or process gaps to management, contributing to solutions that support organizational goals.

Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support the standardization of tools, processes, and reporting solutions.

Participate in business process analysis and mapping to improve efficiency and control, under the direction of senior team members.

Assist in performing As-Is/To-Be Gap Analysis and contribute to recommendations for process improvements.

Support the preparation of executive summaries and risk mitigation plans as needed.

Coordinate with stakeholders and technical staff to help resolve software application issues.

Help develop and track KPIs to monitor performance and provide insights to management.

Analyze data to support projects, business cases, and system requirements.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and communicate updates to relevant business partners.

Support the centralization, consistency, and automation of data, treating data as a strategic business asset.
Key skills and qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

3+ years’ practical work experience in Finance, IT, Project Management, Consulting, or Accounting roles.

Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Blackline, or Workiva is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Excel functions (macros, pivots, lookups) and basic SQL and PowerBI is a plus.

Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.

Experience supporting ERP system implementations or upgrades.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with supervision.
