As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing software under the LenelS2 On Guard product line. In this role, you will impact the security landscape by contributing to industry-leading solutions which protect and manage critical infrastructure for our clients, enhancing their operational efficiency and safety.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
  • Very good knowledge of C++14 and above, SQL, REST API
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and client-server architecture
  • Experience with and willingness to leverage GenAI coding assistants (i.e. GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex)
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in developing distributed or high-performance systems
  • Background in gathering or shaping requirements for the product
  • Experience with any of the following: C++ 14 and beyond, C# (.NET Framework), Message Broker (e.g. RabbitMQ), Rust, Visual Studio
