YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Combination of academic, intern/co-op, and work experience in Electrical/Hardware Engineering, Test Engineering or related
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to develop expertise in advanced testing platforms and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical field
  • Experience in some of the following is of value:
  • Experience in circuit card assembly testing or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware equipment debug and functional test.
  • Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting test stations, sub-assemblies and system level products.
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Experience with industry-standard software tools for test automation and system debugging.

We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components, and more, and connect many of them via our high-speed Wi-Fi offerings.  Our solutions create healthier air travel, more fuel-efficient and better-maintained aircraft, more direct and on-time flight arrivals, safer skies and airports, and more comfortable flights, along with several innovations and services that reflect exciting and emerging new transportation methods such as autonomous and supersonic flight.

As a Hardware Test Engineer I at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will help support sub-assembly CCA and system level testing. Work will also involve providing Jump Network Support, including setup, troubleshooting, Jump PC setup, config, updates; Test Station setup and troubleshooting. This role will also resolve anomalies with Test Software/Test Station/Unit Under Test Investigations, working with a cross-functional team within Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and CSC. You will also support ongoing and future modernization efforts in this role. You will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting both hardware and software testing of circuit card assemblies and ensuring quality standards are met.

  • Develop, design, and debug hardware in sub-assembly and system level testing.
  • Provide software support for testing and debugging sub-assembly and system level assemblies.
  • Develop and execute procedures for functional testing of sub-assembly and system level products.
  • Continuously improve testing techniques and workflows to optimize efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and performance issues.
  • Test Station setup and troubleshooting
