We are looking for a System Engineer II that would join our Next Generation Avionics – Honeywell Anthem team. You will be responsible for Flight Controls development and testing but also you may take part in General Aviation product line development.

The final product will be serving to customers not only in Business, Regional but also Urban Air Mobility and General aviation segments. There is an opportunity for you to grow alongside the new product development and experienced team.

You will report directly to our Sr Systems Eng Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Brno location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Experience & Capabilities

• 2 or more years of System development experience with emphasis on Control systems
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Controls Systems/Aeronautical Studies or related
• Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
• Skilled in Matlab/Simulink
• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Flight Controls Servo, Flight Guidance, Autopilot, Virtual Guidance Panel or Maintenance Systems design
• Requirement analysis and decomposition
• Model based development
• Systems integration
• Systems validation & verification
• Flight Test support e.g., on local Bonanza test plane
• Work with systems/software engineers and other Honeywell teams during developing and integrating solutions for Honeywell Anthem product as well as for Honeywell customers
• Close cooperation with Lead engineer to plan, report and deliver your tasks in Agile project environment
• Actively support Internal and External Audits
• Participate on mentoring, coaching, training, and developing other engineers
