We are seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join our dynamic 10-person team dedicated to the development and maintenance of software and firmware for the MB intrusion and access control platform.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in multiple programming languages, platform design, and communication systems, and will thrive in a collaborative environment interfacing with customers and external developers.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software and firmware development.

Proficiency in C, C++ and Python programming languages.

Extensive experience working in Linux and FreeRTOS environments.

Ability to read schematics and interface with hardware.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Dev Sec Ops practices and platform design.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have:Experience with embedded systems and device firmware development.

Knowledge of intrusion detection, access control technologies, and MB ecosystem products.

Certifications in security or Dev Sec Ops (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, Dev Sec Ops Practitioner).

Design, develop, and maintain firmware solutions in Linux or FreeRTOS for intrusion and access control systems within the MB ecosystem.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers to define system requirements and deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Implement secure coding practices and integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle (Dev Sec Ops).

Contribute to the architecture and platform design of embedded systems and related software environments.

Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliability and performance.

Document software designs, specifications, and procedures to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance.
