About the role

Deliver expert support for HVAC control systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with teams to implement customer-focused solutions. Conduct training, stay informed on industry advancements, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

The HVAC Controls – Sr. Field Service Technician responds to and resolve complex service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical expertise and facilitate HVAC control systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
  • Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

You will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, traveling to customer sites within a 1.5 hour drive from your home location. You will be provided with a company vehicle, phone, laptop and expense card ( for tools and PPE allowance).

MUST HAVE

  • 2 years of experience in field service engineering, with a focus on HVAC control systems
  • 2 years of application of technical knowledge and expertise in HVAC control technologies Direct Digital Controls, Building Automation Systems
  • Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
  • High school diploma or equivalent
