Advance Embedded Engineer (Industrial automation with field commissioning experience IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)

Description
Subject matter expert on PLC, DCS and field instruments, industrial 4.0, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.

Well versed with Firmware Verification of Emdedded System Testing.

System / Product Verification or Solution Verification for industrial automation products.

Work with cross functional agile teams

Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done

Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.

Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software

Design / Implement test automation infrastructure

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, electrical/Electronic engineering

5 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation

Min 3 years’ Experience in field commissioning for PLC, DCS and field instruments.

Experience with software management tools (JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision

Preferred – Embedded Product Testing Experience (Smart line transmitters, Siemens, Yokogawa, Rockwell, Schnider etc.)

Preferred – Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation

Preferred – Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
