
Finance Analyst – Costing at Honeywell
About the role
As a Finance Analyst – Costing supporting the S4 transformation at Honeywell, you will enable accurate, consistent, and scalable product and operational costing processes. This role supports standardization, testing, and readiness of costing data, analytics, and reporting within the S/4HANA environment.
You will report to the Sr Director, Data Analytics and collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and Data teams within the S4 COE. This role is dedicated primarily to the S4 program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support end‑to‑end costing requirements for the S4 scope, including definitions, reporting, and controls
- Partner with Operations and Finance stakeholders to validate costing assumptions and master data dependencies
- Perform detailed cost analysis and variance explanations (standard vs. actuals)
- Support Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, UAT testing, defect resolution, and readiness sign‑offs
- Assist with development of training materials and post‑go‑live stabilization efforts

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools, including Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
