Graduate/post graduate engineer with 4+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electronics manufacturing technologies, design principles and leadership skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent

• Fluent in English speaking and writing

• Excellent project management, communications and presentation skills.

• As VECE Transitions Mech Design engineer, you will address productivity through engineering changes, Transitions & product teardown

• Work closely with business leaders to identify products for regional productivity and bring an impact on gross margin improvement

• Work with offering directors for competitive benchmarking, and margin improvement areas

• Work on engineering changes, Make Vs Buy analysis, adopt Total cost modeling and report out the proposals.

• Ability to adopt the changes in requirements and make quick decisions, excellent team handling abilities.

• Knowledge on manufacturing cost breakup, should cost analysis, material model overview, global economic trends and ability to interpret the data for constructive discussion between supplier and cross functional teams

• Material selection based on durability and cost effectiveness, drive process improvements, knowledge on finishing process and optimization

• Knowledge of supplier’s global footprints

• Analyze costs and develop strategies to improve cost-efficiency for both existing and new designs.
