Now Honeywell Security Solutions R&D is offering opportunities for Advanced Embedded Engineer
Basic Qualifications:6+ years working experiences on embedded software development. Strong architect design skills set in C and C++ language. Self-motivated, optimistic, cheerful and able to work with pressure. Analyze system and product requirements, write clean, secure, and efficient codes which meet the requirements.Familiar with Linux and FreeRTOS based debug tools for system and application troubleshooting.Excellent experiences in Boot loader/Embedded OS porting/Driver/File system.Familiar with NFC, BLE, UWB etc. wireless firmware development.Familiar with Wiegand/OSDP etc. reader protocol,Solid knowledge about Linux OS kernel, thorough understanding process scheduling and memory management.Security door controller domain knowledge is a plus.Good language skill in English, both oral and written. Good communication skills cross functionally with global teams.Familiar with Agile development mode. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer, communication, Engineering or related. Master’s degree is preferred. Additional Information: This position will be based in Xi’an PRC.
Responsibilities:You will take role as Advanced Embedded Engineer, developing firmware for a variety of Linux base edge devices, using your advanced knowledge of Firmware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell security business deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of security smart device products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications. Responsibilities will include: Play a pivotal role in firmware development, and test embedded software solutions, contributing directly to project success.Participate in the testing and debugging of embedded systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.Implement the development of core modules and write high-quality, high-performance C/C++ code.Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to design standards.Optimize existing systems for performance and resolve complex technical issues.Stay updated with industry trends and evaluate the feasibility of adopting new technologies to drive innovation.
