We are currently seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join our Electro-Mechanical Flight Control Actuation team. You will become part of a team delivering safety critical and complex control units for various types of Urban Air Mobility aircraft platforms that are shaping the future of the aerospace industry.
In Honeywell Brno, we have been building center of excellence in Flight control Actuation Systems constituting a huge opportunity to participate in technology edge development projects enabling career growth.
You will encompass the complete product design and development life cycle including, requirements development, concept design, implementation, build and verification. You will cooperate closely with local project and technical leadership and support US team in integration of the control units with actuators and delivery of the system solutions to the customers.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.

- University degree in Electrical Engineering ideally with mechatronics or computer science
- 4 and more years working experience in Systems Engineering role or experience with software or hardware development (cooperating with development team and overseeing end-to-end development process)
- Fluent command of English language as you will be regularly communicating with team located in the US
- Self-motivated approach, ability to work with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done
- Ability to quickly analyse, incorporate and apply new information and concept within an existing system or process

- Developing specification for controller its decomposition to individual development teams (hardware, software).
- Being a technical lead coordinating groups involved in the development of controllers (El. HW, Mech, SW, Test Services, Safety, etc.) incl. prototyping and serial manufacture
- Reporting on system design / development status to stakeholders and customers
- Liaising closely with project engineers, designers and suppliers
You will have an opportunity to work both independently and within a multi-functional team environment. You can also expect a support from areas of expertise and experience when required.
