We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern (f/m/d)– Technical Support Specialist to join our Building Automation team in Böblingen. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience in technical support for our Building Management Systems (BMS) product portfolio. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and support teams, gaining valuable insights into real-world technical problem-solving and customer interaction.
This position is part of our University Relations Program, designed to support students in launching their careers through practical experience and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Provide coverage for the Technical Support Helpdesk (phone, email, web) for the BMS product portfolio.
Deliver post-sales technical assistance, including issue identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and replication of technical problems.
Support areas such as configuration, installation procedures, application functionality, and system operations.
Participate in team meetings and collaborate across Honeywell departments.
Track and document request resolutions to ensure timely and effective support.
Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or IT Networking.
Languages:

English: C1–C2
German: B2–C2

Knowledge of computers, electrical & electronic concepts and devices.
Strong problem-solving skills – ability to quickly and correctly assess the impact, complexity, and urgency of problems reported by customers.
Interest in technology and willingness to learn.
Valuable:

Knowledge of HVAC applications.
