As an Advanced Data Scientist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical insight and acting as the subject matter expert in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis projects. You will work closely with leadership to translate business needs into data science solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of methodologies and explore new approaches to enhance analytical capabilities.
In this role, you will impact the business by applying your expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis to develop and implement advanced algorithms and analytical solutions. You will manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of actionable insights. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on leading complex projects and delivering impactful solutions
- Mastery experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience in leading and ownership of complex data projects
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall direction of the Data Science team
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics models and algorithms
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and formulate datadriven solutions
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Ensure the delivery of highquality, actionable insights to support business decisionmaking
- Drive innovation within the team, exploring new methodologies and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities
