This position provides an exciting opportunity to advance your Application Engineering and Engineering Services career within one of the Honeywell’s most dynamic COEs. This Advanced Hardware/Application Engineer role is responsible for driving and supporting project that focuses on cost optimization and Value Engineering for Honeywell Building Projects and ensure all the proposal are accurately evaluated and implemented in collaboration with Global Engineering team. Lead projects that implement these Value Engineering initiatives and optimizations, collaborate with the Project Engineering, Proposal & Estimation and ISC (integrated supply chain), prepare drawings, BOM and provide inputs during bidding and Proposals. Good communication and negotiation skills are required daily basis in connection with enablers involved in these projects – Engineering teams, ISC, Manufacturing site, Suppliers, Third party sub-contractors, Installation and commissioning Engineers and contractors, System integrators.

Experience and Education Required:

• B. Tech/M. Tech (Instrumentation / Electrical/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication with 5-8 years of Hands-on experience on IBMS (HVAC, Fire Alarm and Security) Project Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, Access Control and Security Systems.
• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture with different types of Platforms, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators etc.
• Knowledge of different types of network protocols like BACnet, LON, Modbus, etc.
• Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems for infra projects ex. Airports, commercial buildings.
• Strong Leadership, Negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in Value & Component engineering, Should Costing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Review Project inputs, specifications & Drawings should be able to gather the scope and complete requirements for the building automation project.
• Design, engineering & commissioning experience for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion system, intercom system
• Experience working with front end integrated system, SCADA & multiple system interfaces
• Working experience in networking & ICT
• Knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems, Field and Panel Device Selection, Control Valves (Electric and Pneumatic), Damper and Actuator sizing and Selection.
• Designing the Network Architecture, Network Traffic Calculation and Network Device Selection.
• Creating Hardware Design Drawings including plant & control schematics. Controller and Interlock Wiring.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, procedures, bids and proposals and identify HVAC equipment, dampers, actuators and sensors. Preparation of Bill of Materials.
• Preparation and participation in project kick-off and review meetings.
• Adherence to standard estimation process and guideline to select proper combination of hardware, software, and services with optimum budget.
• Preparation and optimization of Building Management System network architecture.
