We have an opportunity for a Labour & Employee Relations Director for North Europe to join us at Honeywell, in Bracknell, where you will impact the organization by driving operational efficiency, enhancing team performance, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the future of our business and achieving sustainable growth. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and drive employee and labour relations strategies that support the organization’s objectives.

  • Oversee or lead negotiations of collective labour agreements.

  • Coordinate with legal to ensure compliance to labour laws and regulations.

  • Partner with the business and deploy labour and employment relations activities to human resource professionals and cross functional leaders to support business strategies.

  • Actively involved in mergers, acquisitions, and business transformations.

  • Advise management on labour relations issues and organization policies impacting labour relations.

  • Provide coaching and training on LER landscape in the region.

  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization

  • Foster a positive employee relations environment.

  • Coordinate and drive across EMEA selected LER projects.

Key skills and qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in labor relations, with a focus on collective bargaining and employee relations.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including experience in interpreting and applying them.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading labor relations initiatives and negotiations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities to drive labor relations strategies and initiatives.

We Value

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in labor relations, with a focus on collective bargaining and employee relations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess labor relations data and trends.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
