Technical Product Owner II

As a Technical Product Owner II here at Honeywell, you will lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Owners, providing strategic guidance and overseeing the entire product development lifecycle. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring a cohesive approach to product development. Your strategic influence will extend to driving innovation within the product management function, identifying opportunities for technological advancements, and actively participating in strategic decision-making to shape the overall direction of the Technical Product Owner team.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell's position at the forefront of technological advancements by driving efficient and timely product development, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of experience in a Technical Product Owner management role or similar technical leadership position
• Mastery understanding of software development methodologies and processes
• Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile principles
• Proven track record of successfully managing technical teams

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
• Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements
• Drive the development of technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall product strategy
• Provide technical guidance to the development team throughout the product lifecycle
• Work closely with the Technical Product Owner Manager to ensure timely and successful product delivery
• Actively participate in product planning and roadmap discussions
