Experienced Manufacturing Technician:

We have an opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, where you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment, and use your knowledge to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This is a full time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern:

• Mondays
• Thursdays 8:25am - 5:05pm, Fridays 8:25am - 1:20pm

Key Responsibilities:

Hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques
Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process
Following detailed assembly instructions
Microwave testing using network analysers and fault finding on microwave products
Following detailed test instructions
Carrying out visual quality checks and packing, as well as labelling of finished parts
Identify manufacturing improvements

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Understanding of microwave signals / electrical circuitry
Previous experience working within an Assembly / Manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail
Proven competence in a similar role
Excellent dexterity and hand- eye co-ordination
