Experienced Manufacturing Technician

We have an opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, where you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment, and use your knowledge to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This is a full time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern:

Mondays - Thursdays 8: 25am - 5:05pm, Fridays 8:25am - 1:20pm

Key Responsibilities

• Hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques

• Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process

• Following detailed assembly instructions

• Microwave testing using network analysers and fault finding on microwave products

• Following detailed test instructions

• Carrying out visual quality checks and packing, as well as labelling of finished parts

• Identify manufacturing improvements

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of microwave signals / electrical circuitry

• Previous experience working within an Assembly / Manufacturing environment

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proven competence in a similar role

• Excellent dexterity and hand- eye co-ordination
