As a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading advanced engineering projects that drive innovation and enhance our aerospace technologies. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Brno, Czechia location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be part of SATCOM team and work on products like Aspire 350 or JWX.

KEY CAPABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 6 or more years of experience in engineering project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in risk management and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage advanced engineering projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Performing monthly variance analysis to cost and schedule baseline. Make initial recommendations to the Program Manager and the team as it pertains to root cause / corrective action, as well as short term impacts to financial forecast and milestone fidelity.
- Regularly reporting to leadership and customers regarding the status of projects. This includes addressing critical items, identifying risks, and outlining any assistance required.
