As a Software Engineer II at Sine by Honeywell, you'll take ownership of complex development tasks and work with our cross-functional teams to build efficient and robust solutions that deliver value for our customers. Along with the wider Product Development team, you'll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment and follow-up interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop front-end and back-end solutions using web technologies, such as NodeJS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, Helm, Terraform, etc.

  • Act as the technical lead and architect on complex projects

  • Build microservices using Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

  • Effectively utilise tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket and Jenkins

  • Work cross-functionally with other engineers, designers and product managers to solve complex customer and business problems

  • Foster team development by reviewing work and providing constructive feedback

  • Apply and promote high-quality engineering practices

  • Provide relative estimates for the development effort, validate, and improve continuously.

  • Provide operational support and respond to production alarms

  • Participate in process design and provides input to development planning

  • Demonstrate ability to plan and organize complex technical projects

  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones and facilitating others in their ability to do so as well

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Extensive practical experience developing software solutions in a comparable software stack

  • Strong JavaScript background in web applications and Node.js

  • Experience working on complex developments and mentoring less experienced engineers

  • Strong Backend development skills using Java

Script in NodeJS:

  • Front End development kills using TypeScript and/or JavaScript and a modern framework such as React or Vue

  • Solid understanding of security, web standards and architecture S

  • Strong principles of software design and architecture
