​We are seeking a Lead Advanced Field Install Technician
HBS installs, integrates and maintains the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy efficient. You will work with critical building management, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities. In this role you will help our Public Private Partnership facilities to us technology to improve productivity and increase the value of services provided to our many different customers
The primary focus is to provide commissioning and service support for Honeywell’s security system and Building Automation HVAC systems.
YOU MUST HAVE5+ years electrical/security/instrumentation/HVAC controls experience2-3 experience with extended knowledge of controls and how programable logic controllers work Post secondary diploma in a technical field Full class G driver’s license Ability to travel up to 30%WE VALUENiagara N4 Certification and experience Previous Commissioning or Construction experience Ability to work safely within the Honeywell/Customer HSE requirements.5 years of experience maintaining Security systems or Building Automation systems Be able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration Previous customer service experience1+ year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000- $92,000 in Markham, Ontario. Key Responsibilities Working with sub-contractor and the customer to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of Honeywell HVAC, Security and BMS Systems.Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.Perform sensor verification and system calibration to ensure operations as per design intent.Publish commissioning reports for customers including Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.Escalation of any potential issues/delays related to scope/timeline and budget Provide guidance, mentor and train Jr Field install Technician.
