Overview

The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing daily culinary operations and ensuring the consistent delivery of Hilton brand standards across all food and beverage outlets. This role contributes to operational excellence, team development, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

  • Assist the Executive Chef with the overall management of kitchen operations
  • Lead, train, and develop the culinary team in line with Hilton quality and service standards
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste across all outlets
  • Monitor food cost controls, inventory management, and waste reduction
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Support menu development, promotions, and international food festivals
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
  • Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a senior kitchen leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort
  • UAE experience preferred; international exposure and prior Hilton experience are an advantage
  • Proven experience in multi-outlet and high-volume kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Creative, performance-driven, and cost-conscious approach
  • Formal culinary qualification preferred
