Food & Beverage Supervisor:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.
Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.
What will I be doing?
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and events. You will support the Food & Beverage leadership team in delivering memorable guest experiences while guiding and developing our Team Members.
· Supervise daily operations across allocated Food & Beverage outlets
· Lead by example and ensure exceptional service standards are consistently delivered
· Communicate and delegate tasks effectively to the team
· Support, motivate, and develop team members, including training, onboarding, and performance appraisals
· Handle guest queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution
· Monitor and manage stock levels, assisting with inventory controls and cost targets
· Assist Food and Beverage leadership team with onboarding, training and development of team members
· Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, health & safety, fire regulations, and security procedures
· Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve departmental goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Be environmentally aware
· Support other departments as required, maintaining positive working relationships
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you should have:
· Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role (Team Leader or Supervisory experience desirable)
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Strong organisational and time management abilities
· A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service
· The ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
· A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
· Commitment to developing both team members and yourself
· Flexibility to handle diverse work situations
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
