Room Service Order Taker:

• Answer guest calls to take food and beverage orders.
• Explain the menu, suggest dishes, and answer questions about ingredients or preparation.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Confirm order details: room number, number of guests, delivery time, allergies, or special requests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and room service team for order preparation and delivery.
• Monitor delivery times to ensure prompt service.
• Handle special requests (dietary needs, celebrations, special amenities).
• Verify order accuracy and presentation before dispatch.
• Make courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process billing and charge orders to guest rooms according to hotel procedures.
• Resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen, servers, and front desk.
• Follow hotel standards for hygiene, quality, and service.
• Keep records and reports of daily orders.
• Provide courteous, professional, and personalized guest service.
