The Income Auditor responsibilities are

· Responsible for carrying all duties and activities to the established policy procedures and practices according to recognized accounting practices and Hilton Brand standards, ensuring the maximum profitability of revenues, efficiency of revenue collection and debt settlement, cost and expense minimisation, and integrity of all financial transactions.

· Responsible for achieving both long and short term revenue maximisation and expense minimisation goals and objectives as set by the hotel and Financial Comptroller. Responsible for implementing and achieving revenue generation initiatives and providing assistance to all departments of how to increase revenue and minimise costs and expenses.

· Responsible for ensuring that established accounting principles are that policies and procedures are carried out according to established standards and Hilton Brand standards.

· Responsible for auditing all accounting duties and activities and financial transactions that occur between the Hotel and guests.

· Acts as a support department assisting other operating departments in the administration and execution of financial transactions, providing financial data, forecasts, actuals and analysis.

· Provides financial assistance and information to the operations IBUs in regards to budgeting, forecasting and the interpretation of analysis of financial data.

· Ensures all team members are remunerated correctly and on time.

· Maintains close relationship with GM, DO, DBD, DHR and Accounts & Finance BU, offering assistance to the Rooms Division, Materials Acquisitions and Revenue Manager.

· Responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial transactions, recording and accounting practices by internal auditing the hotel.

· Plans and conducts financial, operational and compliance audits to determine the adequacy of internal control and the degree of compliance with these controls.

· Supervises personnel for all audit assignments.

· Prepares the annual audit plan.

· Plans, implements and evaluates short-term and long-term objectives of IBU.

· All guest requests are handled in a polite, efficient manner and that a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.

· Ensure financial team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from both guests and other departments.

· Ensure all team members’ posses a high level of knowledge of the accounting principles and practices, internal auditing standards and techniques to perform audit.

**·**Ability to consistently produce accurate work, to evaluate the materiality and significance from established practices, procedures and regulations to make recommendations for corrective actions.

  • University degree and above.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Attention to details and good interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in English to meet business needs.

  • Possess system skills in Check SCM, SUN.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
