The Coffee Shop Attendant is responsible for taking guest’s order and serving food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
What will I be doing?
As a Coffee Shop Attendant, you would be responsible for taking guest’s order and serving food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to deliver excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to standard recipes
- Assist customers with menu selections and respond to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, equipment and seating area
- Maintain inventories and restock supplies
- Ensure that food safety procedures are being adhered to at all times
- Operate the Micros POS and accurately record customer order information, open, complete and close guest checks properly
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
