Position Summary
The Overnight Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel. This position is responsible for front desk guest services during overnight hours while completing daily audit procedures accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and confident working independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
⚠️ This is a Full-time overnight position, and some weeks may require availability for additional shifts based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service at all times, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience during overnight hours
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
- Complete all nightly audit functions, including balancing daily transactions and closing the business day in accordance with Hilton brand standards
- Reconcile room charges, payments, and revenue reports with a high level of accuracy
- Process payments, handle cash, credit cards, and foreign currency in compliance with hotel credit and cash-handling policies
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and on-property services
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, resolving issues independently when possible
- Communicate relevant guest feedback, incidents, or operational concerns to management and other departments as required
- Monitor hotel security during overnight hours, following all safety, fire, and emergency procedures
- Use property management systems (e.g., OnQ) and front office systems accurately and confidently
- Support other departments during overnight operations as needed
- Adhere to all Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or a customer-focused service environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial and audit-related tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while remaining proactive and accountable
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional appearance and grooming standards aligned with Hilton brand expectations
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
