This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
- Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants
- Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Learning & Development Manager
We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional five star guest experience, consistently upholding the world class service standards recognised by Forbes.
What will I be doing?
As a Learning & Development Manager, you play a pivotal role within our Human Resources function, elevating the learning culture of Hilton and the timeless sophistication of Waldorf Astoria through our renowned training framework. In this role, you will deliver the following responsibilities with impeccable standards:
· Champion functional excellence across all departments, supporting leaders in cultivating worldclass capability and elevating performance throughout the hotel
· Act as a catalyst for cultural transformation, driving initiatives that strengthen our service ethos and reinforce the timeless sophistication of Waldorf Astoria
· Provide expert guidance on all learning and development activities, ensuring every programme reflects Hilton’s global standards and the property’s unique luxury positioning
· Nurture individual and team growth, delivering career development support, experiential learning, and personalised coaching that empowers Team Members to thrive
· Induct, mentor, and inspire new Team Members, ensuring every colleague is welcomed into our culture of gracious hospitality and mastery
· Partner closely with departmental leaders to deliver impactful training programmes and development interventions that elevate operational excellence
· Conduct learning and development reviews with each department, identifying opportunities to enrich skills, refine service, and enhance guest experience
· Design and manage the hotel’s annual training plan and calendar, ensuring a curated, forward thinking learning journey that supports both organisational goals and luxury service expectations

To excel as a Learning & Development Manager at Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, you will embody the grace, professionalism, and mastery that define our legendary hospitality. We seek an individual who brings refined capability, exceptional presence, and an unwavering commitment to elevating our Team Members and Guest experience. You will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:
· Deep expertise in contemporary learning and development methodologies, with the ability to translate them into impactful, memorable experiences for Team Members
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, delivered with confidence, clarity, and luxury brand poise
· Inspiring people leadership capability, fostering strong interpersonal relationships and nurturing a culture of trust and collaboration
· A refined, polished, and peoplefirst approach, embodying the gracious warmth and timeless elegance of our luxury brands
· Impeccable personal presentation and grooming, aligned with Waldorf Astoria’s standards
· Resilience and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic luxury environment and responding with grace to evolving needs
· The ability to work independently or collaboratively, demonstrating sound judgment and refined professionalism at all times
· Proficiency with digital tools, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, to support elevated learning delivery
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
· Proven experience in a comparable training leadership role within a luxury or ultraluxury hospitality environment, elevating service culture and team capability to exemplary standards
· A tertiary qualification in Training or Human Resources, bringing academic grounding to complement your practical expertise
